What does connecting and growing in Christ look like when it comes to giving? Growth begins by connecting more deeply with who we are in Christ: blood-bought children of the King of Kings, sinners saved by his mercy and grace, called to new life with him forever. When new life grow in us, we are transformed into those who:
“...are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.”
1 Timothy 6:17-19
Paul instructed Timothy to share this truth with the people, which ultimately leads them to spread the love of Christ. Their willingness to share and be “rich in good works” grew their faith and connected them more deeply to Christ. Gospel generosity changed their hearts and enabled them to “take hold of that which is truly life.” What an amazing picture of how God seeks to bless us, to grow and connect us, through our giving. I pray that you will be blessed richly by our Lord as you give of your Central to God’s mission here at Central.

We can help you set up convenient ACH or EFT transactions directly from your bank account. We can also help you make a donation of non-cash items, such as stocks or mutual funds.
God provides for the ministry of Central Presbyterian Church through your tithes and offerings. Through Him, your generosity is changing lives around the world and down the block. We encourage all of those who are part of our Church family to give—not out of obligation but out of a spirit of worship. Whether it’s around the world or down the block, your gifts make it possible for more people to hear about Jesus.
The stewardship of our finances is an often overlooked area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Financial planning is an important part of that stewardship, and your annual pledge helps the church to plan wisely.
